In our recent BBQ Lovers survey many of you indicated that you would like to be involved with local community barbecues – especially the char-grill variety.

If you were one of those, the Heathdale BBQ Festival, to be held on Sunday 29th October at Heathdale Glen Orden Wetlands, is the event for you!
This year the grand BBQ cook-off competition, judged by Gabriel Gate, includes for the first time the Heat Beads® Char Grill BBQ category! So for our char-grill enthusiasts come along, join the fun and cook up a storm. What’s more, be one of the first 10 teams to enter and you will receive a Heat Beads® BBQ Accessories Pack!
Every contestant entering the Heat Beads® Char Grill category will be given FREE Heat Beads® BBQ Briquettes to cook with on the day!
The winner will take home a brand new Weber (valued at $200) and a supply of Heat Beads® BBQ Briquettes. Runners up will receive Heat Beads® BBQ Entertainment packs! To enter, you must register your team by October 6th.

The Triple R Melbourne BBQ Day is on again at CERES in Brunswick, on Sunday December 3rd 2006. The Heat Beads® Best Char Grill Recipe Competition will be on again, so put on your chefs hat and perfect those char grill recipes!
