This Easter, we’re celebrating two of our favourite things: BBQ and laughter. After all, don’t they go hand in hand?
So this is what we’re proposing. Put your best foot snap forward in the 2011 Heat Beads® Easter Caption Competition and you’ll go into the running for a share of over $500 in prizes!
It’s simple and free: Send an email to captioncontest[at]auschar.com.au with a funny, BBQ related photo, along with a short caption.
It could be a funny photo from your last family BBQ, a burnt meal perhaps, or even a pair of singed eyebrows? We’re leaving this one up to you on the condition that it must be BBQ related, come with a cracking caption, and pass our laugh test.

The competition starts now and ends on 23:59 AEST, Wednesday April 27 – so if don’t yet have a photo to send through, we’re giving you all of Easter to make some memorable moments that’ll have us in fits of laughter.
Winners will be announced here, on Facebook and Twitter, and via email on Friday April 29. We’ll be uploading some of our favourites to our Facebook Photo Album, so be sure to check back soon!

Entries close Wednesday 27 April, 23:59 AEST. Heat Beads® will not accept any entries outside the entry period. Heat Beads® assumes no responsibility for lost/late entries. You must be 18 years old and above to enter. You must be an Australian resident. Heat Beads® employees and their family members are not eligible to participate in the competition. Only one entry per person will be accepted. Entries will be selected at Connecting Images, 107/175 Sturt St, Southbank VIC 3006. Winners will be notified via email on Friday, April 29 with further announcements on the Heat Beads® blog, Facebook and Twitter.
