News of the Queen’s impending visit to Australian shores and the fact that she will attend a BBQ as part of her itinerary is the inspiration for this week’s post. It got us thinking, what would you serve the Queen if you knew she was coming around to your backyard BBQ?
The first thing that came to mind was Ben O’Donoghue’s Roasted Fillet of Beef with Yorkshire Pudding. Too safe?
On the other end of the spectrum, we could offer our royal guests Hindooroo (curry flavoured kangaroo steaks) or Emu and Kangaroo Sausages.
But when we think about it, she probably won’t have time to stay for an entire meal. So maybe tea and Camp Oven Scones?
