Dame Edna and The Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA) are asking you to keep your sausage sizzling by hosting a Big Aussie Barbie this September – to help raise awareness and funds for the most common cancer in Australian men.

Along with hosting your BBQ do, you’re invited to set up your own fundraising page, which you can personalise and use to help spread the message to your friends and family. At time of writing, close to $50,000 had been raised!

We are expecting September to feature a calendar full of BBQs as we officially enter the Aussie BBQ season, and look forward to the fun of the AFL Grand Finals, the World Cup Rugby matches and the Spring Racing Carnival. And if you’re short of menu ideas, try these party favourite BBQ recipes

Stickiest Tastiest Ribs Marinade

Barbecued Bacon Wrapped Prawns

Baked Golden Delicious Apples stuffed with Mars Bars

Let’s all fire up the barbie for a good cause this spring!
