Can barbecue fuel be used indoors?

No. All carbonaceous fuels (charcoal, Heat Beads® BBQ Briquettes, coal) can produce carbon monoxide, an odourless and poisonous gas that can be lethal if the area is not well ventilated or if air supply is limited in some way.
