The Heat Beads® Hawkers’ Market Wrap Up
As smoke rose from sizzling barbecues and the aromas of delicious Asian dishes wafted through the Queen Victoria Market, it was time for the Heat Beads® Hawkers’ Market to begin!
Taking place over three evenings – March 15, 16 and 17 – the Heat Beads® Hawkers’ Market was held as part of this year’s Melbourne Food & Wine Festival and was a wonderful event enjoyed by attendees of all ages.
28,000 mouth-watering Asian style dishes were served throughout the event, the majority of which were cooked over Heat Beads® BBQ Briquettes.
There were informational cooking demonstrations including John McLeay from Red Spice Road who demonstrated a variety of Asian dishes cooked on the Heat Beads® Entertainer BBQ.
