All-Purpose Barbecue Sauce recipe
Food-writer, broadcaster and founder of the Australian Barbecue Academy, Bob Hart, shares his handy All-Purpose Barbecue Sauce recipe with us.

Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups tomato sauce
- ¼ cup molasses
- ¼ cup cider vinegar
- ¼ cup water
- splash of liquid smoke
- splash of bourbon
- 2 tablespoons All-Purpose Dry Rub
Method:
Mix all ingredients together and bottle for future barbecues. Try your own variations on this recipe to make your own ‘secret sauce’, maybe a dash of chilli, coffee, chocolate or chipotle powder.
