Basic Barbecue Rub
- black pepper
- white pepper
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- smoked paprika
Basic Barbecue Sauce
- tomato sauce
- maple syrup
- malt milo (although last night was Quik Chocolate)
- soy sauce
- splash of umeshu (plum wine) or plum sauce
Rub the ribs with the basic barbecue rub and let it sit for awhile.
When ready, place ribs on the BBQ and grill until cooked to your looking. Baste several times with barbecue sauce.
