BBQ Chocolate Molten Pudding

Chocolate lovers will not be able to go pass this sinful BBQ Chocolate Molten Pudding from The Bar-Be School.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 180g butter
  • 200g chocolate
  • 250g castor sugar
  • 90g flour

Equipment:

  • 1 hooded BBQ
  • 1 tray of muffin tins or pudding moulds
  • 1 food processor
  • 1 saucepan
  • 3 bowls
  • 1 wood spoon
  • 1 flour sieve

Method

01

Prepare your BBQ with a high heat and indirect.  If cooking these after your roast, you may need to add extra ashed-over briquettes to get the temperature up.

02

Melt butter & chocolate over bain marie (in bowl over the saucepan that’s filled with water)

03

Cream eggs, yolks & sugar with a whisk (or food processor) until light.

04

Fold chocolate mix into yolks (be sure that the chocolate mix is not too hot, it might cook the eggs).  Fold sifted flour into mix.

05

Place on the top BBQ grill rack for 12-15 minutes.  Replace lid

06

Serve with your favourite ice cream or double cream!
