This recipe is a family favourite!
Ingredients:
- beef scotch fillet
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup sweet chilli sauce
- sea salt
- freshly ground pepper
Method:
Mix brown sugar, pinch of sea salt, freshly ground pepper and ¼ cup of sweet chilli sauce together.
Pat dry beef and rub mixture into meat. Allow meat to rest while barbecue gets hot.
Sear on both sides then reduce the heat and cook slowly. Meanwhile, make the yummy sauce below to serve with the beef.
Sauce:
- ½ cup of olive oil
- 2 peeled garlic cloves
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- Sea salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Handful of parsley
Blend all ingredients together in a blender and serve as a sauce with the beef. Delicious!
